The big weekender! DJ Nick Townsend provides an alternative music mix downstairs. DJs Kieron Lowry and John Paul Javal are upstairs with more new dance, R&B, chart, pop and Eurobeats.
Sunday. (9pm - 4am)
Karaoke Night with Martin Ritson. Sing yourself silly with words projected onto our 13 widescreen TVs. Upstairs it's music from DJs Kieron Lowry and John Paul Javal.
Dempseys is unique to the Sheffield gay scene and operates a membership scheme. This means we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all our customers. Entry to Dempsey's after 9pm is for members only. However, the main bar is open all day with unrestricted access. We can boast over 15,000 members from all over the UK.

Dempsey's Bar and Club is not open to non-members. However, guests may be admitted if accompanied by a member. This will be at the discretion of door staff as priority will always be given to members. Cost of entry to non-members will be £5.00.

We boast three bars including our infamous cocktail bar on the upper level. Chill out downstairs, enjoy karaoke, games or try some of our readily available food.
Try the main bar situated upstairs that is right beside the dance floor.
Dempsey's is a members club which means you can be sure of a safe and enjoyable experience.
Membership is just a pound and you can join on the night (except Friday and Saturday). All new members will be asked to complete a simple Membership form and a cutey little photograph will be taken. Rest assured that details of all our members are strictly confidential and under no circumstances are they passed onto third parties.
Once accepted you'll be given a gold membership card* and you'll be asked to present this when visiting at night.
Please note that guests are not allowed.
*Members are advised that the white membership cards are no longer valid.
Remember that membership is at our discretion and occasionally we stop taking new members.
We operate a strict 'No Drugs' policy at all times. Any members who are found to be dealing, using or under the influence of drugs will be banned indefinitely. It's a policy we pride ourselves on and one that is endorsed entirely by our members
